Schedule


The President-Elect and the Board of Directors are planning the educational sessions for the 56th Annual Southwest Park and Recreation Training Institute. This coming year's program speakers represent a broad variety of topics for the educational tracts, and come to us from eight states.

The established educational tracts are Park Maintenance/Planning, Leisure Services, Administration, and Natural Resources.
A majority of the sessions from all of the tracts are eligible for CEU's.

Sunday, February 6, 2010

     11 a.m. - Annual Golf Tournament at the Sequoyah Golf Course.
     10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Registration
     5 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Annual Super Bowl Party. This event will feature theater screen TV, food, fun,
     and fellowship. Fabulous prizes will be awarded between each quarter of the game.
     6 p.m. - Dinner served during Super Bowl Party
     9 p.m. - Brag Night

     6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - Breakfast
     8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Opening General Session
     11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Network with Vendors
     11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Lunch (take a Student to Lunch)
     1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. - Education Sessions
     2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. - Education Sessions
     4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. - Education Sessions
     5:45 p.m. - Annual Fun Run/Walk (meet in Lobby at 5:30 p.m.)
     6 p.m. - Dinner
     7 p.m. - Brag Night follwed by the Annual Institute Auction
