The 57th Annual Southwest Park and Recreation Training Institute is going on now!The current edition of the SWPRTI Newsletter has been released - read it here today!
In addition to some outstanding educational tracks for parks and recreation professionals, the 2012 Institute featured:
- Keynote Speaker - Dr. Mary Kelly
- CPSI - Certified Playground Safety Inspector Course and Exam
- NEW - Playground Maintenance Track
Monday, February 6th begins with the Opening General Session featuring Dr. Mary Kelly. Monday afternoon our educational sessions begin with tracks in Natural Resources and Park Maintenance, Administrative Management and Planning, and Leisure and Recreation. Monday evening concludes with our second installment of "Brag Night", followed by our Annual Scholarship Auction.
Tuesday morning and afternoon are filled with more educational sessions. Tuesday evening concludes with the Annual SWPRTI Awards banquet.
On Wednesday, February 8th, the Institute concludes after morning breakfast with our Closing Keynote Speaker.
